Finca
Cortesín.

Host of the 2023 Solheim Cup and of the Volvo World Match Play Championship. A modern classic in tournament condition all year round.

Finca Cortesín is one of the finest modern courses in Europe. In September 2023 it hosted the Solheim Cup, the first time the event was played in Spain, and previously it was the home of the Volvo World Match Play Championship.

The course was designed by Cabell B. Robinson, who worked for many years with Robert Trent Jones Sr., and it opened in 2006 as part of an exclusive estate in the hills of Casares, between Estepona and Sotogrande.

The course

Finca Cortesín is long and generous from the visitor tees, with wide fairways that flow through a natural landscape of valleys, streams and Mediterranean woodland. Few courses on the coast match its conditioning. It is a course that rewards good golfers without punishing mid-handicappers, which makes it one of the most enjoyable big days out on the Costa del Sol.

Playing Finca Cortesín

Visitors are welcome, and the green fee is at the premium end of the coast. Tee times can be limited in the high seasons of spring and autumn, so we recommend including it in your request early.

Combine it with

Finca Cortesín is the perfect centrepiece for a golf holiday in Estepona. Within 25 minutes you can also play Valderrama, Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and Atalaya.
