Torrequebrada is one of the long-established courses of the Costa del Sol, designed by the Spanish architect Pepe Gancedo and laid out on the hillside above Benalmádena. It's close to the airport, full of character and offers some of the best sea views on the coast.
The course
Expect a hilly, varied round: elevated tees, sloping fairways, water on several holes and greens that reward a good short game. It's a course where local knowledge helps and where the views make up for the odd lost ball. We recommend a buggy.
Why we recommend it
Because it's so close to the airport, Torrequebrada is perfect for the day you arrive or the day you leave, and for short golf breaks. It's good value and has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Combine it with
Stay in Benalmádena or Mijas and combine it with Mijas Golf and La Cala, or with Parador de Málaga Golf on the other side of the airport.
This page is an independent guide to the course for information only. Links Away Golf is not affiliated with the club. Visitor tee times depend on the club’s own availability and rules; if you would like to play here, tell us and we’ll check the options for your dates or suggest similar courses nearby.
